Definitions
"We", "us", "our" refers to UNI1, registered at 23, Kasthuri Bai Street, VOC Nagar, Pammal, Chennai Kanchipuram TAMIL NADU 600075.
"You", "your", "user", "visitor" refers to any person using our website or purchasing from us.
These definitions apply throughout these Terms and Conditions and all related legal documents.
Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website and engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients of UNI1's web design and development services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, with changes becoming effective immediately upon posting to our website.
It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
The content of the pages of this website is subject to change without notice.
Services Offered
UNI1 provides professional web design and development services including custom website creation, responsive design, admin dashboard development, and website hosting setup.
Our services are delivered in packages: Starter (₹7,999 for single-page websites), Professional (₹14,999 for multi-page websites), and Enterprise (₹29,999+ for complex custom websites with advanced features).
All packages include a ₹199 design prototype, modern tech stack (React/Next.js), responsive mobile-first design, basic SEO optimization, and hosting assistance. Professional and Enterprise packages include custom admin panels for content management.
Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose.
The ₹199 Design Prototype
Before full development begins, you will receive a complete visual prototype of your website for ₹199. This mockup allows you to visualize your entire website design before committing to full development.
The prototype fee is non-refundable once design work has commenced. However, you are entitled to unlimited design revisions during the prototype phase until you are completely satisfied with the design.
If you choose not to proceed with full development after seeing the prototype, you are under no obligation to continue. The ₹199 prototype fee covers the design work completed and grants you the design files.
Upon approval of the prototype and payment of the remaining balance, we will proceed with full development of your website.
Payment Terms
Payment is structured in two phases: ₹199 upfront for the design prototype, and the remaining balance upon prototype approval before development begins.
We accept payments via bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit cards, and other digital payment methods. All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
Full payment must be received before we commence development work on your website. Failure to make payment within 7 days of prototype approval may result in project cancellation.
For Enterprise packages with custom pricing, payment terms will be agreed upon in writing before work begins. Milestone-based payments may be arranged for projects exceeding ₹50,000.
We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the decline of authorization for any transaction on account of the cardholder exceeding the preset limit mutually agreed with our acquiring bank.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
UNI1 believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. However, certain conditions apply to protect both parties.
Cancellation requests will be considered only if made within 7 days of enrolling in the course or project initiation. If substantial work, materials, or content have been delivered, cancellation requests may not be entertained.
Full refunds are available if: (1) We have not started work on your prototype design, or (2) We fail to deliver your prototype within 48 hours of project initiation without valid reason.
Partial refunds may be considered if: (1) We fail to meet agreed-upon delivery timelines after development has begun, or (2) We cannot deliver key features outlined in your approved project scope. Partial refunds are calculated proportionally based on work completed.
No refunds are available if: (1) Your website has been completed and delivered according to specifications, (2) You have approved the final website and it has been deployed, (3) You request cancellation after development work has substantially progressed, or (4) A project explicitly mentions a 'No Refund' policy.
If the refund is approved, the request will be processed within 7 days and the amount will be refunded back to your bank account within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to our support team within 14 days of the event giving rise to the refund request.
Project Timeline & Delivery
Design prototypes are typically delivered within 48 hours of project initiation and receipt of all required information from you.
Full website development is completed within 7 working days from the date of prototype approval and receipt of final payment. This timeline applies to Starter and Professional packages.
Enterprise packages have custom timelines based on project complexity, which will be agreed upon in writing before work begins. Complex features may extend delivery timelines.
Delays caused by late submission of content, materials, or feedback from your side may extend the delivery timeline accordingly. We will communicate any timeline changes promptly.
Client Responsibilities
You must provide all necessary content, images, logos, text, and other materials required for your website in a timely manner. Delays in providing materials will extend project timelines.
You are responsible for ensuring that all content you provide does not infringe on any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
You must respond to our requests for feedback, clarifications, and approvals within reasonable timeframes (typically 3-5 business days) to keep the project on schedule.
Your use of any information or materials on our website and/or product pages is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable.
You are responsible for maintaining your website after delivery, including content updates, security patches, and hosting fees. We provide guidance and support, but ongoing maintenance is your responsibility unless separately contracted.
Unauthorized use of information provided by us shall give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.
Intellectual Property Rights
Upon full payment, you receive complete ownership of your website, including all source code, design files, and custom-developed features. There are no subscriptions or vendor lock-in.
You are granted a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute your website as you see fit. You own 100% of the intellectual property rights to your completed website.
UNI1 retains the right to showcase your website in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.
Third-party assets, libraries, or frameworks used in your website (such as React, Next.js, or icon libraries) remain under their respective open-source licenses. We ensure all third-party components are properly licensed for commercial use.
Revisions & Changes
During the prototype phase, you are entitled to unlimited design revisions until you are completely satisfied with the visual design.
After prototype approval and development commencement, you receive up to 2 rounds of revisions for minor adjustments and refinements at no additional cost.
Major scope changes, additional features, or new pages requested after development has begun will be quoted separately and may incur additional charges and timeline extensions.
Revision requests must be submitted in writing with clear descriptions of the changes required. We aim to implement approved revisions within 2-3 business days.
Website Maintenance & Support
We provide 30 days of free post-launch support for bug fixes and technical issues related to the original scope of work. This covers any defects or issues with the delivered website.
After the initial 30-day period, ongoing maintenance, updates, and support can be arranged through separate maintenance agreements with monthly or annual pricing.
Website hosting is set up during development, but you are responsible for ongoing hosting fees to your chosen hosting provider. We provide guidance on hosting selection and setup.
Emergency support for critical issues may be available on a case-by-case basis. Contact our support team immediately for urgent matters.
Privacy Policy
UNI1 collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data via our Platform. Your data will primarily be stored in India in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
We collect personal data including name, contact details, payment information, and other necessary information when you use our Platform. We also track your behavior and preferences to enhance your experience.
Data is used to provide services, enhance user experience, resolve disputes, market products and services, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
We share data with group entities, affiliates, and third-party partners for service provision, payment processing, and legal compliance. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We adopt reasonable security practices and procedures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
You can access, rectify, update, and delete your personal data via the Platform's functionalities or by contacting our support team.
By using our Platform, you consent to data collection, usage, and sharing as per this Privacy Policy. You may withdraw consent at any time, but this may affect your access to certain services.
Confidentiality
We treat all information you provide during the project as confidential. We will not disclose your business information, content, or project details to third parties without your explicit consent.
Any sensitive information, trade secrets, or proprietary data shared with us will be protected and used solely for the purpose of completing your website project.
Our team members and contractors are bound by confidentiality agreements. We maintain industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
This confidentiality obligation survives the completion of your project and termination of our agreement indefinitely.
Limitation of Liability
UNI1's total liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the total amount you paid for the specific project in question.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages including lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, or business interruption.
We make every effort to ensure your website functions correctly, but we do not guarantee that your website will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted at all times after delivery.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your website content and for any damages resulting from failure to maintain proper backups or security measures after delivery.
Your use of any information or materials on our website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement by providing written notice. If you terminate before prototype approval, you forfeit the ₹199 prototype fee for work completed.
If you terminate after development has begun, payment is due for all work completed up to the termination date, calculated proportionally based on project milestones.
We reserve the right to terminate the agreement if: (1) You fail to make required payments, (2) You fail to provide necessary materials for more than 30 days, or (3) You breach these terms.
Upon termination, we will deliver all completed work to date. You will receive source code and files for paid portions of the project. No refunds will be provided for completed work.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from these terms or our services, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiations and direct communication.
If informal negotiations fail, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
Each party will bear their own costs for arbitration proceedings. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding on both parties.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations or other urgent matters requiring immediate remedy.
Any dispute arising out of use of our website and/or purchase with us is subject to the laws of India.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal action or proceeding arising from these terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
You consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objection to venue in these courts.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
